Our Planet Ants Indiegogo campaign has closed and the final figures perhaps suggested that it was not successful. However – we are delighted to announce that the opposite is true! We are actually close to obtaining considerably more funding than our initial campaign target and will be in a position to commence the game software development in January – not only as originally planned up to game-phase 1, but right up to game-phase 4!!
One of our objectives in launching an Indiegogo campaign was to give the gaming community the chance to become involved as an initial part of our project and a very special thank you to all gamers who did join in. Although the final participation levels could be considered disappointing, our campaign “reach” was phenomenal and actually achieved much more than we could have hoped for. A huge and not unexpected bonus of the campaign was that we attracted the attention of several potential investors who, whilst not gamers, saw the amazing potential of the game. They wanted to become involved in the project and it is now “all systems go”.
